My heart tries to tell me that I am afraid But I know better. Deep within me, something says, "Do not heed yourself. Go to him. He calls. He calls for you."
I extend my arms. He grabs me above the elbows, turns me around, And pulls me backwards to him, breathing down my neck, A sharpened blade pressed against my throat. I relax and do not struggle.
